Location:
Our location are central London which will see the view off London in the beginning, just briefly then the main bulk of the video will be shot within a house.
We've chosen central London due to the city lights, fast past environment it ends to have at night, also because we are filming a hip hop video, rappers intended to shot, a long wide shot of the city there filming in to show off there city and the theme of there video, for example 'Partynextdoor - Break from Toronto' shows a perfect example of the look were trying to achieve.
Our second location is being in a house is because out video narrative is a house party.
As our makeup will feature two females make up is essential. this establishes that it isn't just an ordinary night. we want to portray a rich a wealthy lifestyle, the makeup will be classy and sophisticated however their clothing will be more on the edgy side, as it is a house party. We will achieve this by using high end products and shades off makeup also by taking our time and using the right amount so it combines with our theme and lighting correctly.
We decided to comtemprose the video through costume. there has been a noticeable change of clothing through out the years, from basketballs jerseys and baggy jeans to fitted jeans and plain dark coloured tops, also a lot of rappers in todays time frame wear a lot off expensive designer clothing in there music videos trying to show off there wealth, also the relationship between the lyrics and visuals have an a huge impact on rappers costume, perfect example is 'Drake - Versace'
lighting:
the contrast between high key and low key lighting is vital in our music video to develop our narrative, this is because we want to represent the same location but in two different time frames however the only way to distinguish this would be by lighting other than the props positioning etc.
